Simon Wakely,

Director

In 1995 Simon joined his father, David Wakely, and grandfather, Jack Wakely at the family funeral directors in Bridport, where he learned the profession of funeral directing.

Now with almost 30 years experience, Simon continues to follow family traditions and enjoys serving the local communities in which he lives and works.

Leah,

Funeral Director

In 1996, after leaving school, Leah started her career in Bridport working and training alongside her father, David Wakely, and brother, Simon Wakely.

Following a career break to raise a family, Leah returned to work in 2014 working in our Lyme Regis office, then trained as a funeral director gaining The Funeral Arranging and Administration Diploma (DipFAA) in 2019.

"Thank you for all your patience and support as we navigated organising mum's funeral.

You responded to our questions and changes of heart without any hesitation or fuss and with great compassion.

It was a beautiful send off for our mum and ran so smoothly which was thanks to the team of undertakers on the day who helped us as we wobbled through the ceremony."
