Introducing Simon Wakely as the new Chairman of the Melplash Show for 2025/26.
Having served as the Vice Chairman for the past two years, Simon Wakely has now been appointed as the Chairman of the Melplash Agricultural Society for 2025/26. His new role reflects not only his long-standing connection with the society, but also his deep-rooted involvement with the local community and agricultural life.
Born and raised in Beaminster, Simon has always played an active role in the local community. He was a long-standing member and former chairman of the Beaminster Young Farmers group and has spent 25 years with the Bridport Round Table.
