AJ Wakely Sponsor Emily's Volunteering Trip to Kenya
A.J. Wakely & Sons were proud to sponsor Emily, who recently returned from a four-week volunteering trip to Kenya.
During her time there, Emily was involved in a variety of projects, including building a house for a widow and her daughter, repairing school classrooms, and taking part in wildlife conservation initiatives such as building lion and elephant deterrent structures and deworming 94 goats.
Emily shared that the experience gave her valuable confidence and leadership skills, as well as a deep appreciation for the local communities she worked with.
